INTRODUCTION:
Sharukhan Clan is an international historical reenactment club specializing in medieval combat, primarily based in Ukraine. The warriors of Sharukhan Clan consistently rank among the top competitors at local and international historical medieval fighting championships.
SHARUKHAN MARKET:
The project also encompasses Sharukhan Market, a professional workshop and network of Ukrainian blacksmiths and weapon makers with 20 years of experience. They are renowned for enhancing the protection, aesthetic, and overall quality of armor. Their equipment has established a reputation as some of the most reliable, beautiful, and authentic in Europe.
DESIGN CONCEPT:
The project focuses on the Mongolian roots of the Sharukhan clan. The initial logo draft featured a face representative of a Mongolian, I decided to preserve this element while transforming the sketch and softened by adding a circular element inspired by chainmail, symbolizing strength and protection. The goal was to create a beautiful, powerful logo that embodies medieval style and Mongolian heritage,
reflecting the elegance and historical significance of the Sharukhan clan.
INSPIRATION:
For the typography, I created a custom font drawing inspiration from Mongolian manuscripts to capture the essence of the language and region.
The chainmain ring is ornately decorated with patterns reminiscent of traditional Mongolian designs, adding cultural depth to the brand.
